Bristol Beer Festival
Just to let you know that I still have a small number of these tickets available for Sat night
Date - Sat 5th March
Time - 7pm -11pm
Venue - Temple Meads Station
Cost - £4 per ticket (beer extra!)
This is a chance to taste over 120 beers, ciders and a few lagers and is a good night out.

Chicago at Bristol Hippodrome, Friday 28th April
Chicago is the raunchy and humourous tale of Roxie Hart, a night-club dancer who kills her lover; Billy Flynn, a sharp lawyer who had turned her into a celebrity; and Velma Kelly, a dancing jailbird with an ear for the headlines and an eye for talent.
I will be going on Thursday evening 28 April (pub-meet up beforehand to be arranged). A mid-range ticket costs £19.50 - if 10 or more of us go I will get us the discount. For further details email bristolactive@hotmail.com. Closing date for bookings Friday 1st April

Regine's Leaving at Lloyds/No 1 Bar - Sunday 20th March
The next Sunday chillout will be at the No1/Lloyds Bar at the Waterfront on Sunday 20th March (1pm onwards).
This will be a special one as it will be the last time we see Regine who will be leaving Bristol at Easter to return to France.
No1/Lloyds Bar is a Wethespoons pub which sales an extensive range of beers/lagers as well as a varied menu (including sunday roasts)
It would be great to see lots of group members (new and old ) there to wish Regine well. Everyone is welcome.

Salsa Night - Wednesday 23rd March
I am planning a night of Salsa at Fiesta Havana on St Nicholas Street, also off Corn Street, Bristol.
It should be a fun night, you don't need to have any previous experience or need to take a partner.
The evening starts at about 8.30 with a warm-up, followed by 2 lessons. After lessons finish at around 10.30, you can dance the night away until 2am.
I suggest we meet at 8.15 in the downstairs bar, as it can get quite busy. Prices for entry are £6 or £4 if you have an NUS card.

Next Group Pub Night - Friday 25th March (Good Friday)
By popular demand, the first Friday night pub night will be held on Good Friday (25th March)
Venue: All Bar One (at the top of Corn St)
Time: 8pm onwards
If your are new to the group, please come along and join us. It is a friendly and relaxing atmosphere and probably the best way to meet others in the group.
