The bowling is normally £4 per game and I plan to book two games. If we have good numbers it might be possible to get a better deal. The weblink is https://www.hollywoodbowl.co.uk/avonmeads.php
For those who are interested in coming please e-mail Rich Walker before 31st May. If we do get a group discount I will need to send an e-mail requesting a small deposit before the day.

A trip to Alton Towers, a premier theme park in Staffordshire. The weblink is www.altontowers.com
I plan to buy in advance open tickets for £30 (£35 on the gate). All being well we can have a great day out, but if the weather is bad then this will allow me to rearrange for another weekend….and in the event that someone can’t make it then I can get the ticket to them for another time (valid throughout 2008).
In order to stick to the flexibility of open tickets I suggest that we go by car rather than train/coach. The journey is just over two hours so I would appreciate an indication whether you need a lift or are able to offer a lift (and how many). I suggest that any passengers should be happy to pay £5 to the driver for a petrol contribution… oh and the chauffeur service!
Those who are interested in coming please e-mail Rich Walker

Stepping Out Theatre presents Diary of a Madman
by Nikolai Gogol
A new adaptation by Steve Hennessy of Nikolai Gogol’s classic story ‘Diary of a Madman’ which toured to Bath and London in 2007. This production has also been performed inside secure psychiatric wards, day centres and hostels in Bristol, where it received amazing responses from patients and staff alike.
... A fascinating and frenetic account of one man’s descent into madness, as amusing as it is tragic. Seb Steiger is utterly engaging as Poprishchin ... an outstanding production. KATE BRITTEN, THE STAGE
